Maps (overall, segments, gps data)
GPX gps exchange file from Delorme Software Distances (approximate) 1050 miles 600 miles trail (~100 miles bike trail) 400 miles road History http://www.iceagetrail.org/history.htm Glossary of Geological terms describing the trail: http://www.iceagetrail.org/glossary.htm
Official Trail vs. Connector Roads There are no mandatory road connectors to take. I recommend taking the shortest route that doesn't involve main roads with a lot of traffic. Going into nearby towns can be helpful to find food and shelter. Addition of New Trails I suspect 2007 will include work on many new sections of trail. Go to the IAT&P website for more details. You could also go to a local chapter website if they have one. Mobile Skills Crew (What is it and When are they working) http://www.iceagetrail.org/trailbuilding.htm
